As the big C mentioned, there are seven (deliberate) pop-culture references in Episode 3. If you want to look for them on your own, go ahead and watch Episode 3 again, and see if you can catch them. If you want to check your answers, I'll be posting my list in the comments for this entry.

Huh. The Easter Egg scene reminds me of the "Eyes Only" cable hacks in the show Dark Angel.
And is this "hidden reference" you speak of present as a cypher in the Easter Egg?

Yes, it is kinda "Eyes Only", and yes, the hidden message is in the coded numbers sliding across the screen.
